ANALYTICAL SPECIALIST FOR OLIGONUCLEOTIDES

For our affiliate in the Czech Republic located in Blansko we are looking for highly skilled and motivated scientists to become a member of new work group focused on oligonucleotides.
Job profile:
Your research work will be devoted to analytical control strategies linked to the research and development activities related to oligonucleotides for medical applications. As one of the founder members of the new work group you will have the unique possibility as well as a challenge to establish new area of company’s expertise. You will be expected to work independently to organize, coordinate and perform analytical development and operations.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the new team participates in designing and equipping of a new workplace dedicated to oligonucleotides and setting working procedures.
- Independently plans, sets-up, executes and documents all aspects of oligonucleotide projects.
- A strong analytical background both in practice and in education
- Practical experience with analytical development using chromatography (e.g. LC-MS)
- Practical experience with analytical testing by using spectroscopy (e.g Circular dichroism and NMR)
- Basic knowledge with oligonucleotide synthesis
- Collaborates in an international team
Your letter of motivation and CV show that you have:
- A master’s degree or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or relevant program.
- At least 5 years of applicable laboratory experience.
- Strong knowledge of relevant analytical techniques.
- Demonstrated proficiency at operating relevant laboratory equipment.
- An excellent command of the English language in writing and speaking.

- Strong technical, analytical and time-management skills.
- Attention to details.
- Ability to accept responsibility for planning of an activity.
