Dr.Sulaiman C T is a Senior Scientist and the Head of Division of Centre for Medicinal Plants Research (CMPR). His research areas include phytochemical characterization of medicinal plants, ingredient analysis and high throughput screening of herbal formulations etc. Well-versed in the herbal drugs research, he has made significant contributions in this field through publishing over 50 research works in international journals, collaborations with many reputable institutes, as well as many other accomplishments.
Presenter: Dr. Sundaram (Head, Analytical R&D, The Himalaya Drug Company)
Dr. Sundaram Ramachandran holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and is currently the head of Analytical R&D for Himalaya Drug Company. As an experienced professional in Natural Product R&D for more than 26 years, he has many valuable insights into the formulation of herbal drugs and possesses specialized knowledge on advanced analytical instrumentation which is required to deliver safe and efficacious herbal products.

With more than 14 years of experience in Quality Control as a manager in GreenChem Herbal Extractions company, Antony Silvester is highly proficient in ensuring the quality and safety of herbal extracts from raw material procurement, to manufacturing and final product packaging. Over the past decade, Antony has accumulated in-depth knowledge on analytical techniques required for quality control analysis and validation, such as LC-MS, HPLC, and GC.
Presenter: Nicole Zhang (Senior Product Specialist, Shimadzu Asia Pacific)
Nicole studied in UK in Microbiology and Immunology, prior joining Shimadzu, she worked in different companies in analytical instrument industry for more than 10 years, from Chemist to marketing and in charge of different technologies from LC, MS to Spectro products. She joined Shimadzu at the year of 2018 as spectroscopy product specialist and in charge of food quality and safety market.

As LC Product Manager, David Chan is based in Shimadzu Asia Pacific, managing and handling the LC product line in the region. Before joining Shimadzu Asia Pacific, David was a Drug Discovery Chemist with more than 10 years of experience in small molecule design and synthesis. He understand the day-to-day difficulties faced by the synthetic chemist well through this extensive working experience, and knows how to apply the correct workflow.
