Shimadzu: What’s Next After Helium? - Conserving or Switching Carrier Gas on a Shimadzu GCMS

Currently, there is a growing challenge for all GCMS users: Helium Gas Supply Shortage. As global helium levels continue to fluctuate, GCMS analysis has taken a direct hit with higher uncertainty and greater potential for delays, thereby affecting turnaround time and cost of analysis. So, what's next after helium?

In this webinar, Shimadzu will introduce solutions to combat this challenge to maintain smooth operation and save cost for GCMS analysis. We will discuss several solutions to provide more flexible options for users. This includes how Shimadzu's GC instruments can reduce helium consumption or switch to a different carrier gas for uninterrupted analysis. Let us address the problem of Helium Gas Supply Shortage and navigate through the uncertainty smoothly.

Learning Objectives
  • How Shimadzu offers countermeasures to address the urgent issue of Helium Gas Supply Shortages
  • Learn about the capabilities of Shimadzu's GC instruments in reducing helium consumption for lower cost of analysis
  • Learn about the flexibility of Shimadzu's GC instruments to switch carrier gas easily to ensure uninterrupted analysis
