An Agilent Guide to SPME Analysis
Agilent Technologies: An Agilent Guide to SPME Analysis
Agilent offers high-quality products for Solid Phase Microextraction (SPME) sample preparation. The SPME technique uses polymer phase coated fibers to isolate and concentrate analytes from the sample. There are two types of SPME extraction techniques: Headspace (which is the most common technique used) and direct immersion, where the fiber is immersed into an aqueous sample. Even though SPME is most commonly utilized in conjunction with GC and GC/MS, it is also compatible with LC applications. Agilent offers SPME fibers and arrows in a range of chemistries that can be use with autosamplers or manual injection holders for all application spaces. This presentation will discuss Agilent’s SPME portfolio and offer guidance on phase selections for various applications.
