Breaking Down Barriers with Non-Target Screening

The Analytical Scientist, in collaboration with the International Conference on Non-Target Screening (ICNTS), is hosting an editorial webinar on non-target screening (NTS) on May 21 at 2:00 PM (BST).
ICNTS is focused on using non-target screening strategies to build robust and sustainable analytical and data handling workflows; and have recently started the PINTS initiative (i.e. Pipelines in Non-Target Screening) to overcome the barriers between different disciplines and install valid data processing strategies in various applications.
With this in mind, this session will explore the latest advancements in NTS and its applications in environmental analysis – with a view to developing broadly applicable workflows.
The webinar will feature three short presentations, followed by a live Q&A session with the speakers:
- Thomas Letzel will give an introduction to the analytical process in NTS.
- Manuel Garcia-Jaramillo will discuss the application of NTS in environmental analysis.
- Saer Samanipour & Rick Helmus will together discuss typical pipelines in NTS.
Presenter: Thomas Letzel (Analytical Research Institution for Non-Target Screening (AFIN-TS GmbH))
Presenter: Manuel Garcia-Jaramillo (Oregon State University, USA)
Presenter: Saer Samanipour (University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
Presenter: Rick Helmus (University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
