Extraction of New and Emerging Drugs of Abuse Prior to LC-MS or GC-MS Analysis

New and novel drugs of abuse are emerging worldwide as compounds that circumvent current laws. Analysing for these compounds can prove challenging as their structures are frequently changing. This webinar will discuss how to extract various designer drugs of abuse from urine, whole blood, oral fluid, and hair prior to LC-MS or GC-MS analysis. Specifically discussed will be synthetic cannabinoids, synthetic opioids, synthetic benzodiazepines, and synthetic stimulants.
By attending this webinar you will learn about...
- sample preparation information for various biological matrices
- how to develop methods based on compound properties
- extraction methods for several different classes of novel psychoactive substances
