FTIR microscopy: Practical guidance for effective sample analysis

Whether you are new to FTIR microscopy or looking to refine your existing workflows, this live webinar will provide practical guidance to help strengthen your analytical approach. We will explore key considerations in measurement modes, sample preparation, method optimization and data interpretation—focused on helping you generate clear, reliable results across a range of applications.
Through real-world examples and applied strategies, we will discuss how to select appropriate measurement techniques, optimize parameters for improved spectral quality and address common analysis challenges. Our goal is to support you in building confidence when working with complex or heterogeneous samples.
You will learn:
- Transmission, reflectance or micro-ATR—how to determine an appropriate mode for your sample
- Practical considerations for microscopy sample preparation and handling
- Approaches to optimizing measurement parameters for improved spectral quality
- Library matching strategies to address common interpretation challenges
- Tips for analyzing complex and multi-layered materials
