Tune into your Mass Spec: Troubleshooting GC-MS and Tune Report Interpretation

We’ll also discuss how often the system should be tuned and techniques to help determine this frequency, along with using the tune report to troubleshoot problems with the mass spectrometer.

Angie is an applications chemist for GC and MS Supplies at Agilent Technologies in Wilmington, DE. Previously, she was an Applications Chemist for the MSD Solutions and Applications group with a focus on developing analyzers and applications for energy, chemical and environmental markets. She holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Lehigh University and B.S. in Chemistry from Juniata College.
